Amelia Bones came forward with the suspicion that Edgar and possibly Charlotte Bones were involved with the Order of the Phoenix. While Bones has ruled out the possibility of her brother's involvement with the Death Eaters, I don't think we should. We should extend the search of the crime scene for evidence of membership in either group.

I got a report from the Oblivators office dealing with an improperly animated object near Winchester. The man they obliviated mentioned a "green skull-shaped cloud" last night. It's probably too late to catch anyone. Two of you check it out now and report back.

A team of my aurors just apprehended two Death Eaters, Eliot Avery and Alexander Mulciber, at the scene of a crime, terrorizing a family in masks and robes, and evading arrest. We have witnesses in custody now and are taking statements. So far as I'm concerned, this is open and shut. However, we need approval for warrants, before the family ha time to destroy evidence this time.

I've warded the Wizengamot. Hopefully the requisite agreements will come soon. I'm coming in to get the warrant signed the moment I can.

As we've all read by now, Sturgis Podmore alerted us to the murder of Marlene McKinnon-Prewett his morning. With the message on her stomach and her ties to both Fabian Prewett and a suspected vigilante, this could suggest the victim's involvement in the Order. What are we making of the case; and more of the message.

Perhaps we should bring Podmore in for further questioning unless he's already been questioned. Longbottom, Proudfoot? Updates?

Auror Scrimgeour has said that he remembers more of his attack now. I told him I would send along someone to take a statement and he's insisting on you. When you have the time, could you drop by St. Mungos and take a statement? He's in a bit of a stroppy mood tonight.

Scrimgeour woke up and is expected to make more or less a complete recovery.

What I said still stands. Scrimgeour did regain consciousness but is still not out of the woods. His right leg is still messed up something awful. It may not be salvageable, but while that might do in his combat training and field work, he should be able to come back to Administrative regardles.

He was out of it when he came too but it's too early to read too much into that. I'll keep checking in on him and with his healers. Until he is back, keep up the good work as Head Auror.

While you are entitled to your own opinions to a point, might I remind everybody that regardless of any disclaimers you may give or your chemical state at the time, you are ALWAYS acting as a representative of this Department and your respective offices. You should ALWAYS act according to such and if you cannot, you should avoid these things entirely. As a public symbol of Justice in Great Britain, any foolishness, malice, or lack of professionalism undermines public opinion of our offices and our very ability to function in this Wartime environment. We have had quite enough bad press without generating it for ourselves.

I want a pair of you to talk to the WWN and see how tracing the signal to see what can be learned of how and where the Order is hijacking the wireless signal. Get transcripts of the broadcasts and see what can't be fact checked, ferreted out, or learned from them.
